A Trip to Idaho's Sawtooth Wilderness- Afternoon at Stanley Lake

Stanley Lake, Sawtooth National Recreation Area, Idaho

After out drive in, we arrived in Stanley, Idaho, explored the town and got lunch at the Stanley Baking Company. We had to pick up a few supplies for our backcountry hiking trip the next day so after a stop at the camp store, we headed to check out Stanley Lake. With out tight schedule, I wasn’t sure if we’d get to stop at the lake again and I wanted to make sure I got to photograph it. The lake’s edges were filled with families having fun on a warm summer day.
