Over the winter, I found an old Minolta Rokkor 58 mm lens at a thrift store.  The lens was inexpensive and seemed to be in good condition, so I took a chance on it.  When I finally mounted in on my Sony a7ii, I realized that the lens wouldn't focus properly.  Rather than throwing it back in the donation pile, I decided to see if I could have some fun with the lens creating out of focus images.  I took it out one sunny day at the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and shot directly into the sun, creating the most brilliant flare.
