Lunch at Commune

Commune is one of my favorite restaurants.  Their Virginia Beach location at the Oceanfront has been open for a couple of years and I jump at the chance to go there when my husband suggests a breakfast date.  When the owners announced a second location in Norfolk, I just knew it would be something special.  They chose a beautiful old building in the NEON district, full of character and charm.  The interior space is a photographer's dream full of gorgeous old windows and high ceilings.  When some friends and I stopped there for lunch, I couldn't resist sneaking my camera out of my bag to grab a photograph.
