Schoodic Peninsula: The Hidden Gem of Acadia National Park

Hidden on the Maine mainland is a tiny peninsula of land just below Winter Harbor. This secluded section of Acadia National Park boasts all the coastal beauty and hardly any of the visitors. We chose to drive over to Schoodic rather than take the ferry so that we could get a glimpse into the surrounding towns and villages where local watermen make their homes. After sightseeing and touristing, we found a little lobster shack to indulge in one last roll before our trip ended.
