During tonight's portrait session in Virginia Beach's North End we were treated to a beautiful sunset and an equally wonderful moon rise. Not quite a full moon and yet big enough to inspire awe, the sky glowed golden as the sun set in the opposite direction. After a day filled with the tragic news of the mass shooting in Las Vegas and the sad passing of Tom Petty, all I could hope for was toddler giggles at a portrait session and a beautiful sunset sky.
