Do you spend your days making excuses as to why you aren’t a better photographer? Does the loud voice in your head overpower the soft voice in your heart? Imagine if you had a reply for each of these excuses. Imagine if instead of wishing and waiting, you just started doing. Imagine if, when it got hard, you kept going.

Are you guilty of standing in your own way and keeping yourself from becoming the photographer you want to be?

I invite you to join me for Create Confidently, a small group mentoring program that will help you become the photographer you long to be. This intimate small group mentoring program will provide you with an environment of openness to foster your photography growth.

• How to use common elements of design
• How to bring a photograph to life by using tools to add depth
• How to let go of preconceived ideas and expectations and use your imagination to grow as a photographer

  • Closing Personalized Virtual Session: A one hour 1 on 1 private virtual session to discuss the outcome of the program, the steps you have taken to reach your goals, and how to continue to grow in your photography journey.

  • Private Facebook Group: A safe space to complete the exercises, share photographs, ask questions, and work together to grow into the photographers you hope to be.

What began with a simple Instagram follow, turned into an amazing opportunity to reinvigorate my photography. My photography has been a creative outlet that helped me capture inspiration through the world around me. After COVID, much of my photography goals for my new full-frame camera were put on hold. The mentorship program with Jennifer Carr helped put me back on track. Not only did it help me to learn my new camera, but it helped me reconnect to my work. Jennifer’s unique approach acknowledges the rules yet challenges you to step outside of those boundaries to create images that you can feel. Additionally, this group program created new relationships with other like-minded photographers and made this experience invaluable.

Jennifer shared so much quality teaching in the guides each week, but what made it truly come alive for me was the very practical exercises and ways to connect photography fundamentals with grounding exercises and learning to pay attention to what we experience and what is stirring in our hearts even before we reach for the camera. I feel more attuned with what I need to do to connect with myself and connect with my environment as an essential part of my photography process and that is helping me to see more deeply and more with my heart, and therefore shoot with my heart.

If you’re wanting learn what makes a great photo and feel confident in knowing what to point your camera at along with settings for the scenario, then take this course. I struggled taking my camera on vacations or on hikes with me, because I felt I never knew how to compose a photograph. After taking this course, I have confidence knowing what gear to take, what settings to go to and most of all what to “see” with my own vision and how to photograph it. Getting back to the basics of design and digging deep into how you see through your lens was an amazing discovery for me during this course. I really loved the photo critiques and feedback from Jennifer and the group for improvement because now when I get out there with my camera, I keep those tips in mind and know what to look for that will make my photos better. I would take another course with Jennifer any day!
