Last Light... and Breaking the Binds

"All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us." ~ J.R.R Tolkien

Life is busy lately {always}.  Time is stretched thin, to do lists are long.  I'm struggling a little with balancing the must dos, want to dos, wish I could dos, and should dos.  Shooting for me has taken a back burner.  If I shoot, I must cull.  And then I must edit.  And then I want to share.  This overwhelmed feeling has left me frustrated.  Tired.  Sad.  It's the feeling that I imagine someone has when they are bound in a straight jacket.  Your arms are tied, your chest is crushed, you fight and pull, you collapse from exhaustion.  I will not be held captive by my own self. I need to break the binds.  I need to balance my scales.  My to do list won't ever end, but it can stop controlling me.  Stop binding me.  Today I can accomplish a small thing.  A bite out of the elephant.
